In Silico Vaccine Design for Streptococcus (Minor Project)
Designed a multi-epitope vaccine against Group A Streptococcus (GAS) using immunoinformatics. Identified and evaluated epitopes from M and FbaA proteins to construct a chimeric vaccine with strong predicted immunogenicity.
NGS-Based Pathogen Detection Pipeline (Major Project)
Developed an automated pipeline using Snakemake, FastQC, TrimGalore, and Kraken2 for efficient pathogen identification from NGS data. Achieved 70% read classification accuracy.
🧬 AI/ML Analysis of TCGA - LUSC Dataset
This project focuses on classifying lung cancer tumors using gene expression data from TCGA. After cleaning and dimensionality reduction (PCA), multiple machine learning models—including Logistic Regression, KNN, Random Forest, and XGBoost—were trained to distinguish between cancerous and healthy tissues.
